Zipp 404

Don sent me these photos of his Zipp 404. The was pushed into the barriers during a crit, breaking 7 bones and his Zipp 404. His steal steel frame and Alpha fork were ok.

Somehow Zipp managed to rebuild the wheel. Hopefully Don won't be off the bike for too long.

rebuilt it with what... a new rim, spokes and maybe a hub too for good measure... that's a new wheel right?

Yep, those stolen frames are pretty tough alright.

Abrasives such as carbon and alloy steel, iron, and nonferrous alloys are typically used on strong metals; for hard and brittle substances (such as grey iron and cemented carbide) or metals with low tensile strength (such as copper, brass and aluminum) silicon carbide abrasives are typically used. spray paints Polishing is also a common pretreatment for metal items that are to be plated or painted, depending on the desired finished product.
