Broken Handlebar

I'm sending to you two pics of a broken handlebar of a Orbea Orca from a colleague of a discussion forum. He brought the bike from Spain on Iberia Airlines. To his surprise, upon opening the box, the handlebar was broken.

It shouldn't really be a surprise that an airline would mistreat luggage.

I walked away from being T-boned by a car. Pity i don't have the pic of the left pedal, it got sheared in two.

Wow, I don't know how you walk away from that. Very lucky. This is definitely one of the more dramatic busted carbons that I've posted.

Orbea Orca Crushed by Truck

Mike had his 2009 Orbea Orca run over by a truck, cracking the frame in five places. His Reynolds carbon rear wheel, also run over, only needed to be trued.

Orbea & Specialized
