Ron of Lugs Chicago sent me these photos. Ron's feeling towards carbon are much stronger than mine.
This unlucky fellow owned 2 Giant TCR-1s. This one cracked while crossing a railroad track that runs on an angle. Tracks were wet, kid went down, fork gave out. Knucklehead wants another. Won’t get it from us.

I think I'd call this crappy glue.
Not sure, is it:
1/2 He run over the rails. The fork detached. He falled. That would be scarry.
or
2/2 He run over the rails. He falled. The fork detached under the lateral impact. That would be bad luck.
