Trek Madone 5.5

From Ryan:
This is what happens when someone is looking for something on the floor of her car and drives directly into your bike...

Happened to me on 4/9...
Ouch, that must of hurt.

The problem with carbon bikes is not only that they brake, but the fact that they brake in one thousand pieces.. I mean completely. I wonder what would have happened if one of these pieces hurt you, got in a limp or something..
Even the worst quality metallic bike cant brake in the same time in so many places.
These frames look like they are made of glass.
Glad you are ok Ryan, and don't buy again carbon frames..

So sorry to see that...feeling your pain. Maybe Ross and Shawn can get that covered under warranty...

it blows my mind that people don't really know the difference between break and brake.

@ Marlene

Why would you not buy carbon again b/c some one DROVE OVER YOUR BIKE. Any bike I know would be broken after that.

And if you suggesting that the derbies left afterwards is a reason not to buy carbon bikes then you mush also be opposed to glass bottles, something which I find much more of laying around, also threatening peoples feet.
